A Compassionate Guide on Your Journey Toward Healing

I work with adults seeking support and clinical treatment for trauma and/or addiction, as well as those who want to maintain their faith while navigating healing from traumatic religious backgrounds. I aim to create a safe, compassionate space for individuals working through issues like anxiety, identity, spirituality, relational struggles, and addiction.

I do not impose my views on clients who do not share my beliefs. Still, for those seeking a Christian perspective, I integrate a Gospel-centered theology and contemplative practices with evidence-based modalities, creating a space to notice the redemptive nature of God’s grace and presence in our stories while using effective treatment methods to bring about healing and wholeness.

Why I Became
a Therapist

My path to becoming a therapist wasn't a straight line. it was shaped by my own experiences with struggle, healing, and the profound impact of having someone truly listen without judgment.

As someone who has both felt first hand the sting of past wounds, the shame of past regrets, the swirl of spiritual confusion, and the shalom of coming home to yourself through deep transformative work in my own therapy, I know what the journey is like.

I aim to approach each client with compassion, curiosity and competence. To do this, I continue to engage my own story in therapy, collaborate with colleagues and mentors, participate in advanced trainings, and vigorously read books on relevant subjects such as neuroscience, psychology, trauma, spirituality, and more.

My Therapeutic
Approach

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

For clients dealing with trauma and PTSD, EMDR can be a powerful tool for processing painful memories and reducing their emotional charge.

Trauma-Informed Care

I understand that trauma lives in the body and the nervous system, not just the mind. Our work will honor your pace and prioritize your sense of safety above all else.

Mindfulness-Based Techniques

Grounding and Contemplative practices to help you stay present, manage overwhelming emotions, and reconnect your mind, body, and spirit

Narrative Therapy

Your story matters. We'll examine the narratives you've been told (and told yourself) and work together to rewrite the ones that no longer serve you.

IFS (Internal Family Systems)

Throughout life, our brains wire into patterns in response to our environment. IFS helps us to understand these patterns, discover our true self, and become whole as a result.
